Dedication Ceremony

March 14, 2026 — Pompano Beach, Florida

Ribbon Cutting & Dedication

On March 14, 2026, the First Amphibious Assault Memorial was officially dedicated at Fisher Family Pier in Pompano Beach, Florida. The ceremony marked the culmination of years of effort by the Florida Society Sons of the American Revolution and 246 generous donors who raised $295,825 to make this memorial a reality.

The 20-foot, 17,000-pound monument now stands as the only monument in the Continental United States dedicated to the Battle of Nassau — and the southernmost monument to any American Revolutionary event in the Continental U.S.
